Glossary Post¶
What this helps you do¶
Generate a clear, definition-first glossary entry from a content brief — the Glossary post template type.
From Chat, the Create a glossary post quick start walks you through confirming a target query and template type before generating the brief and first draft together.
Structure¶
A glossary post follows an informational, top-of-funnel structure:
- The term is defined clearly, in plain language, within the introduction or first section.
- The piece stays informational first: what it is, why it matters, how it works, and where it shows up, before any call to action.
- Concrete examples, related terms, and FAQ coverage are included when the brief calls for them.
- It does not turn into a sales page, feature page, or heavy conversion flow — only a light next-step call to action, if the brief supports one.
Right after the title, the draft includes a short Key Points section — 5 or 6 compressed, high-signal bullets distilled from the brief and the draft's thesis — before the main body.
Where it fits¶
Like every draft, a glossary post depends on its content brief rather than being generated from a bare prompt. Once generated, it goes through the same Draft Studio, preview, approval, and publish flow as any other draft.
