About You¶

What this helps you do¶

About You is personal context about you — the person using Hi, Moose — so chat can feel more like working with a coworker who knows you, rather than a tool you have to re-explain yourself to every session.

Unlike Brand Voice and the Brand Truth Profile, About You is not scoped to a project. It's tied to you and stored locally on this device, so it stays the same as you switch between projects.

Everything here is optional, and everything stays on your machine.

Fields you can fill in¶

• Your role — e.g. "Head of Marketing at a SaaS startup."
• Your team — e.g. "small content team of 3, working with one designer."
• What you focus on — one area per line, e.g. AEO, blog growth, podcast distribution.
• Long-term goals — what success looks like for you over the next few quarters.
• How you like Moose to talk to you — e.g. "short answers first, then detail if I ask. Skip pep talks."
• Anything else Moose should remember — quirks, constraints, or recurring context that would help a teammate work with you better.

Editing and clearing¶

Add or edit any of these fields from the About You card in Context. If you'd rather not have any personal context stored, you can clear it at any time — clearing removes everything saved here.

Where it's used¶

About You is included as background context when you use Chat, so responses can reflect your role, goals, and preferred communication style without you needing to repeat them.

Storage¶

About You always stays local to this device — it is not part of the paid-plan cloud sync that applies to Brand Voice and the Brand Truth Profile, since it's personal to you rather than shared team context.
