Topical Authority Builder is a legacy web app (app.himoose.com) feature and is not part of the desktop app. If you're a desktop app user, you can reach this feature from the account menu without creating a separate login.
What this helps you do¶
Analyze and improve your website's topical authority — how comprehensively and credibly your site covers a specific topic. Topical Authority Builder scans your domain to discover related pages, scores your topical coverage, identifies content gaps, and recommends prioritized actions.
How it works¶
- Enter your domain and the main topic you want to analyze.
- Choose a scan depth — Light, Standard, or Deep — which controls how many indexed pages are considered.
- Hi, Moose scans your domain's current coverage for the topic, groups related pages into topic clusters, and compares your coverage against what comprehensive coverage of the topic typically looks like.
- Review your overall topical authority score, the topic clusters found, and the content gaps identified.
- Work through the prioritized recommendations, ranked by impact.
What you get¶
- An overall topical authority score.
- The number of pages found related to the topic.
- Topic clusters showing which subtopics your content already groups around.
- Content gaps — subtopics you're missing or covering thinly, as opportunities for new content.
- Prioritized recommendations for closing the highest-impact gaps.
