Infrastructure overview

AI search monitoring infrastructure. Run it where you need it.

Hi, Moose collects answers from AI search engines, keeps every one with its sources, and measures visibility the same way on every run. Run it on your own computer, on hosting you control, or on a dedicated server we manage in your region. Your agents and apps reach it over MCP and a REST API.

How it works

Hi, Moose runs the collection. You query the result.

Asking AI search engines the same questions every day, storing what they say, and turning that into numbers is the part nobody wants to build and keep running. That part is Moose. What you build on top is yours.

1

Collect

Your tracked prompts are sent to each AI search engine on a schedule. Same prompts, same engines, every run, so results can be compared across time.

2

Store

Every answer is saved in full: the text, the URLs it cited, the brands it named, the engine and the date. History starts the day a prompt is first tracked.

3

Measure

Daily mention and citation rates per engine, competitor share of voice, and the pages engines cite instead of yours. Days with incomplete runs are flagged, not filled in.

4

Serve

Two ways in, same data underneath.

MCP for agents and AI assistants. OAuth sign-in. Every plan.
REST API for applications you deploy. API key, called from your server. Paid plans.

Hosting

Three ways to run it.

The same app in each case. What changes is whose machine it runs on, whether it is always on, and who keeps it running.

Local

The app runs on your own computer. Team accounts and any MCP client connect to it, and your data stays on that machine.

Collection and agent jobs run while the computer is on and the app is signed in. If it is off, agents get a plain message saying so.

Available now
Self-hosted

Install the app on Windows hosting you control and leave it running around the clock. No setup from our team is needed, and your data stays on your host.

Any account can do this. Your agents and apps connect the same way they would to a local install.

Available now
Managed

We run the app for your organization on a dedicated server in the region you need, always on and maintained by our team.

Running in North America today for customers there; available in any major country. Pricing depends on location and the collection volume you need.

Where things run

Where your data lives, and what needs the app running.

Free and BYOK plansEverything stays on the machine running the app, whether that is your computer or your own host.
Paid plans, managedStored answers and measurements live on Google Cloud, alongside your dedicated server instance.
REST API readsServed from Google Cloud. Visibility data, stats and stored answers can be read with the app closed.
REST actions and MCP jobsAnything that starts a run or does new work happens on the app, so it needs to be running: locally, on your host, or on a managed server.

Start from where you are.

If you already work in Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, add the MCP address and sign in with your Hi, Moose account.

https://mcp.himoose.com/mcp
Sign-in required (OAuth with your Hi, Moose account). Included on every plan.

If you're building an application, create an API key and call the REST API from your server.

https://api.himoose.com/v1
Paid plans. The account owner creates keys in Settings, API keys. Keep keys on your server; the API doesn't accept calls from browsers.

Prefer to do the work yourself? Download the desktop app. It runs the same engine on your Mac or PC.
