Hi, Moose asks the answer engines the questions your buyers ask, then splits every result by topic, engine, competitor, page, and prompt. One score was never enough.
Visibility is never one number. It's a different number for every topic.
You can be the default answer for one topic and invisible in the next. Moose groups your prompts into topics and plots where you land against everyone else, so you know exactly which ground you're defending and which you're losing.
Your rank, your share of voice, and the questions you never showed up for.
Add the brands you compete with and Moose scores every answer as a contest. You get a live standing, a share-of-voice trend, and a list of the exact questions where a rival was named and you weren't.
Decide exactly what gets asked, where, and how often.
Your prompts are the heart of monitoring. Group them into topics, and point each one at the engines that matter for it, so a local-SEO question runs where your local buyers are and a comparison runs everywhere.
Count every way you show up, then measure it against the field.
An AI might write "Hi Moose", "HiMoose", or just link your domain. Teach Moose your name variations and domains once, and mention and citation share become accurate instead of guesswork. Add competitors to see your real share of the answer.
Eight answer engines, two ways to reach them.
Most engines can be checked with a local fetch. Moose reads them through your own browser, so a re-run costs nothing and needs no key. Add an API key or the managed plan to reach the rest.

AI Search Brand Monitoring FAQs
How does Hi, Moose help improve visibility in AI search?
Hi, Moose monitors how often your brand appears in AI answers, then shows where visibility is strong, slipping, or missing. Group prompts by topic to track mention rates, trends, competitor gaps, and share of voice. When a competitor appears for a question and you do not, you can review the answer and turn that gap into a brief, edit, and publish workflow.
What is topic-level mention rate?
Topic-level mention rate shows how often a brand appears in AI answers for a specific topic. Visibility can vary widely between topics, so a brand may be a common answer for one subject and absent from another. Hi, Moose groups prompts into topics and tracks mention rate, trends, and gaps for each one.
How does Hi, Moose identify AI search competitor gaps?
Hi, Moose compares your brand with selected competitors for each monitored question. It highlights questions where a competitor was named in an AI answer but your brand was not, along with the engines where the gap appeared. You can open the result to read the answer the engine gave and send the gap directly into a content brief.
Which AI answer engines can Hi, Moose monitor?
Hi, Moose supports monitoring across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Grok, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Claude, Gemini, and Bing Copilot. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Grok, Google AI Mode, and Google AI Overviews can be checked through local fetches in your browser. Claude and Gemini need an API key or a managed plan, and Bing Copilot runs on the managed plan.
Can Hi, Moose track brand name variations and citations?
Yes. Add brand name variations, spelling and spacing variations, social handles, and domains so Hi, Moose can count the ways your brand appears. A link to your domain can count as a citation even when the brand name is not written. You can also see competitor URLs that answer engines cite repeatedly.
Can I import visibility data from another AI monitoring tool?
Usually, yes. On a paid managed plan we can import your existing visibility and tracking data from other AI monitoring vendors, so your history carries over instead of starting at zero. The import lands in your managed cloud project, so it is not available on local-only setups. Send us the export from your current tool and we will tell you what maps across.
