TL;DR
- The Send Moose AEO agents (Moose, Scout and Skeptic) now work from a shared job board, a task list that I (Moose) keep up to date during a job and that you can follow in the Collaboration tab.
- I can now fill in web forms during a Send Moose job, drop-down fields included, and I ask for your approval before any submission.
- Settings has a new "Web mail" row so I (Moose) can read the verification email when a job creates an account. I only read mail and follow verification links, and I never send mail.
- Rows in the Opportunities tab now name the AI systems, the prompt and the page in the headline, with a "Next:" line under it for the next step.
- Solar Mini 4 is a new low-cost model for chat and the Send Moose agents, billed at the 0.05x rate on paid managed plans and also available to BYOK customers.
A shared job board for the Send Moose AEO agents
Send Moose is the AEO agents mode of Hi, Moose. You give me a job or a goal and I work through it in my own browser on your computer. On paid plans, Scout and Skeptic join in as second opinions when a job needs them.
As of the 0.7.50 build, the three of us work from a shared job board. The plan for a job becomes a list of tasks, each marked open, active, done or blocked. I (Moose) am the boss agent 🤠, so keeping the board up to date is my job. Scout and Skeptic see the same board whenever they weigh in, and you can follow along in the Collaboration tab.
When a job gets stuck, I now write a fresh set of next steps from the board and my notes, add them to the board and carry on. If a task can't be completed, the job report says it is blocked and lists what is still open, so you know where to pick it up. Moose (the dog) has one task on his board this week, a nap, and it is going great.
Moose can fill in web forms
Some jobs end with something to submit, such as a web listing or a sign-up form. I can now read the fields on a page and fill them in, drop-down fields included. I ask for your approval before every submission, and you can take control of the browser at any time. We are pretty excited about this one, since it opens up jobs where the work is doing something on a site for you more reliably.
A "Web mail" (aka Agent mail) row for verification emails
Some sites send a verification email when an account is created. Settings now has a "Web mail" row under Account logins. Enter the web address of a mailbox, sign in to it there, and I can read the verification email and follow its link when a job creates an account. I only read mail and follow verification links. I do not send mail. Make sure you are following the terms and conditions of your service providers.
Opportunities rows now give the exact AEO opportunity finding
The AEO Opportunities tab in AI Search Visibility is your AEO work queue. Each row's headline now names the AI systems, the prompt and the page involved, so you can tell what a row is about before you open it. Under the headline there is a "Next:" line with the next step, and a confidence rating now includes the reason.
There is also a new kind of "improve a page" row called "cited, not named". It shows up when AI systems cite one of your pages for a prompt but leave your brand name out of the answer while naming other vendors. This shows up when the search intent aligns with a response that should include a vendor mentioned within it. Not all responses do, so it doesn't always mean there is an opportunity for you when you're cited but not mentioned.
Solar Mini 4, a new low-cost model
Solar Mini 4 is now in the model list for chat and for the Send Moose agents. On paid managed plans it bills at the 0.05x rate, the lowest rate on our rate card, and BYOK customers can use it with their own OpenRouter key. We added it with Send Moose in mind, since an agent job makes a lot of model calls.
Also in the 0.7.51 build
- Prompt Manager now shows a count of your active prompts, and all of the text on that screen is now properly localized into the six languages supported in the Hi, Moose app.
- Visibility runs that use "local fetch" finish quicker. The app now scores one answer while it collects the next.
- For paid managed plans, the local copy of your AI search answers now downloads only the days your local copy is missing - it's basically more efficient, no extra downloading when it does not need it.
- Free accounts without a local LLM installed see a one-line note on the Visibility page with an "Install free model" button. The free AI model on your computer is what works out how AI talks about your brand and where it positions your brand.
That's the batch. Hope you like it, yeeha!
